Inforama - Document Automation. Document templates, generation and distribution. Create letter templates using OpenOffice and import existing Acrobat forms. Merge data to produce high quality PDF documents and automatically email, print and view. Inforama is a Java based Document Automation system which allows document templates to be created quickly and easily using OpenOffice. Templates are populated with data from parameters and databases before being generated into PDFs for printing and emailing. Version 1.2 includes some significant enhancements and bug fixes. Hibernate and POJOs integration Inforama can retrieve data from Hibernate and POJO data sources. Tables and other document elements can be created dynamically based on Hibernate and POJO datasets. For more on this feature go to http://in4ama.org/web/guest/community/wiki/-/wiki/Main/Java%20Beans Excel integration It's now possible to merge documents with data from spreadsheets. This is particularly useful where data has been extracted from a main database in order to carry out one-off mailshots. Spreadsheet data can be extracted using SQL-like syntax providing more control over the rows which are included. More output formats Inforama now allows OpenOffice documents to be merged with data and returned as OpenOffice documents which can be edited further. This merging doesn't require OpenOffice to be installed on the machine running the Inforama engine which means that documents can be generated this way on Infor
The JUnique library can be used to prevent a user to run at the same time more instances of the same Java application. Recursive DNS resolver for Windows using query repetition and other techniques to defeat spoofing attacks, with basic authoritative functionality in addition. Coded in C#. GbDns is intended to be a comprehensive solution to DNS spoofing. The CERT vulnerability note, VU#800113 explains that you should "Run a local DNS cache". Also, it notes that NAT devices "can reduce source port randomness", which means that source port randomization cannot be relied on for security. Instead of relying on source port randomization, GbDns defeats spoofing by sending the query two (or more) times, and checks the responses agree ( this is an over-simplification, but sufficient to understand the principle ). To the best of my knowledge, GbDns is the only DNS resolver that does this, and therefore appears to be the only secure solution to DNS resolution. GbDns runs as a local recursive cache, and only takes a minute or two to install.

xProcess, for project management and process improvement, focuses particularly on agile and priority-driven approaches. The preconfigured processes, eg. Scrum, FDD, Prince2, Unified, can be tailored. Gantt/Burndowns/target status are continually updated. One of the most innovative project management and process improvement solutions to emerge in recent years, xProcess, has today been officially released under open source license. xProcess allows users to define project management processes (for example task patterns, artifacts, gateways and workflows) and then run live projects while monitoring targets, deliveries and process compliance. Agile methods for software development such as Scrum, FDD and variants of Unified Process are particularly well supported by the technology, which provides priority-driven ordering of activities and resource balancing. The free download of the product includes pre-configured processes for Scrum and other methods. Ivis Technologies, the Colorado-based company that developed xProcess, and xProcess Europe Ltd, their European marketing arm, also announced today the formation of a new company, OpenXprocess Ltd. OpenXprocess now owns the technology and will support, train and consult with project teams using the product. OpenXprocess simultaneously announced the full release of version 3 which incorporates many usability enhancements over previous versions, as well as implementing a fully scalable and distributable data architecture based on

XMLUnit extends JUnit and NUnit to enable unit testing of XML. It compares a control XML document to a test document or the result of a transformation, validates documents, and compares the results of XPath expressions. This is a maintenance release of XMLUnit for .NET which fixes a few bugs, in particular: - order of attributes is ignored, this means there will never be a difference of type 4 anymore. A new flag in DifferenceConfiguration can be used to turn on the old behavior where attribute order was significant. - xmlns attributes are now no longer treated as normal attributes and the namespace of attributes is now sigificant - comparisions of empty elements with attributes failed. I.e. was considered different from The binary in this release has been compiled against NUnit 2.4.8, if you are using a different version of NUnit you will need to compile XMLUnit yourself. This is expected to be the last XMLUnit release compatible with .NET 1.1, we plan to develop XMLUnit2 for .NET and java in parallel and XMLUnit2 will require .NET 2.0 (or later). Please verify the checksums and signature available from http://xmlunit.sourceforge.net/checksums/ after you've downloaded the release.
